{"id":181701,"date":"2026-04-01T02:53:06","date_gmt":"2026-04-01T02:53:06","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-ny\/181701\/"},"modified":"2026-04-01T02:53:06","modified_gmt":"2026-04-01T02:53:06","slug":"news-12-the-bronx-570","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-ny\/181701\/","title":{"rendered":"News 12 | The Bronx"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>A 25-year-old man was shot three times and stabbed in the chest in Fordham, authorities say.<\/p>\n<p>Officers established a crime scene near Creston Avenue and East 191st Street just after 8 p.m. Tuesday.<\/p>\n<p>News 12 crews observed a heavy police presence in the area as officers worked to find out what led up to the violent incident, which police say unfolded outside.<\/p>\n<p>The man suffered two gunshot wounds to his legs and one to his arm in addition to a stab wound to the chest.<\/p>\n<p>EMS took him to St. Barnabas Hospital where he is expected to recover.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"A 25-year-old man was shot three times and stabbed in the chest in Fordham, authorities say.
