She also averaged 8.0 rebounds, 2.6 assists and 1.9 blocks per game, all of which led the team.<\/p>\n<p>Meyer finished her career with 2,097 career points, third on SDSU&#8217;s all-time list, while her 767 points this year marked a single-season school record. In the first round of the NCAA tournament she scored 29 points in a loss to Washington.<\/p>\n<p>Meyer is the second Summit League player to win the Becky Hammon Award, joining South Dakota&#8217;s Ciara Duffy (2019-20).<\/p>\n<p>To be eligible for this award, players must compete in one of the 26 conferences deemed to be &#8220;mid-major.&#8221; The following conferences are considered high-major for the purposes of this award and thus ineligible: ACC, Big 12, Big East, Big Ten, and SEC. Additionally, players from Oregon State and Washington State remained ineligible this year.<\/p>\n<p>On Saturday, Meyer will play in the Women&#8217;s College All-Star Game in Phoenix.<\/p>\n<p>Meyer is one of just 20 players nationally who will play in the game, selected by a panel of experts.
