\n\tThe Jaspers opened the non-conference game right away with three runs off an Andreaus Lewis<\/a> RBI single into right field to drive home Jeremy Sosa<\/a>. Then, a sacrifice fly from Trevor Hansen<\/a> brought home Vincent Samuel<\/a>, who had singled in his first at-bat.
\n\tWith the Jaspers occupying second and third, Dylan Mayer<\/a> knocked a base hit into center to drive home Lewis for the team’s third run of the afternoon.
\n\tAfter the Leopards responded with two runs over the course of the next three innings, the Green and White found its rhythm once more in the fifth inning.
\n\tLeading off the inning with a Josiah Brown<\/a> walk were the Jaspers, with Leopard miscues leading the charge. Building off of the miscue, Jeremy Sosa<\/a> grounded out to drive home Brown from third for the team’s fourth run.
\n\tTwo batters later, with the bases loaded, Justin Best<\/a> supplied a sacrifice fly to drive home Ryan Lordier<\/a> from third for the team’s fifth run of the game.
\n\tLafayette then added four unanswered runs down the stretch, highlighted by a Jasper miscue at shortstop, followed by an additional error in center to bring home the game-winning run in the home half of the ninth inning.

\n\tOutfielder Dylan Mayer<\/a> recorded a 3-for-4 afternoon with an RBI and a double. Mayer also swiped the team’s lone base of the day.
\n\tInfielder Ryan Lordier<\/a> went 2-for-3 while crossing the plate once, was caught stealing, and was hit by a pitch.
\n\tOutfielder Jeremy Sosa<\/a> went 1-for-4 with an RBI, a run scored, was plunked by a pitch, and was caught stealing in one attempt along the base path.
\n\tCatcher Andreaus Lewis<\/a> returned behind the plate and continued his offensive prowess with a 1-for-3 afternoon, one run, one RBI, and one walk.
\n\tRelief pitcher Ivan Epps<\/a> posted a team high two strikeouts in 2.2 innings of relief, surrendering two hits, one earned run, and faced a team high 10 batters in the effort.
