A video captured the heart-wrenching moment a young mom realized her 7-month-old daughter had been shot by a stray bullet while pushing the tot in a stroller through Brooklyn <\/a>Wednesday. <\/a><\/p>\n

The security footage from an East Williamsburg bodega obtained by The Post captured the gutting scene when mother Lianna Charles-Moore first noticed her baby girl had been struck by a bullet inside her stroller. <\/p>\n

Charles-Moore and the tot\u2019s dad took cover inside the deli with baby Kaori and her crying 2-year-old brother, who became hysterical after loud blasts rang out.<\/p>\n

7-month-old Kaori was shot and killed in Brooklyn on Wednesday, April 1, 2026.<\/p>\n

The booms, which the family had initally mistaken for fireworks, turned out to be gunshots fired by a pair of moped-riding thugs into a crowd near the corner of Humboldt and Moore Streets around 1:20 p.m., according to cops. <\/p>\n

The footage reveals what happened in the excruciating minutes after little Kaori had been shot in the head.<\/p>\n

Inside the bodega, Charles-Moore, who had been tending to her son, pulls back the double stroller\u2019s visor and bends down to glance at Kaori, who suffered a fatal head wound in the shooting, the clip shows.<\/p>\n

The distraught mom jumps up and down and screams out with her hands above her head as she\u2019s overcome with emotion, according to the agonizing footage. <\/p>\n

\u201cI was hugging [my son], and then when I looked to my left, my daughter was just there, lying there. She was shot in the head. She was just bleeding. It was just too much,\u201d Charles-Moore said in a phone interview on Wednesday.<\/p>\n

Her break-down alerted bystanders all totally unaware of the tragedy unfolding under their noses up to that point. <\/p>\n

A child who had been standing behind the stroller peaks around to its seat and immediately steps back, appearing aghast with their jaw dropped. <\/p>\n

A man rushes over and appears stunned by what he sees, covering his mouth before hastily pushing the stroller outside. It\u2019s not immediately clear if the man is Kaori\u2019s father or a good Samaritan. <\/p>\n

The tragic youngster was then rushed by ambulance to Woodhull Hospital, where she was pronounced dead at 1:46 p.m. Her 2-year-old brother suffered a graze wound and was treated at the same facility. <\/p>\n

The 7-month-old girl was shot dead in her stroller by a stray bullet while walking with her parents in Brooklyn, with cops now looking for a pair of moped-riding thugs, police and sources said.<\/p>\n

The bubbly baby had just learned how to say the word \u201cmama\u201d <\/a>and hadn\u2019t even begun walking yet when the heartless shooter on a moped fired in her direction.<\/p>\n

Chilling surveillance photos captured the suspect blasting a gun from the back of the moped as the driver sped away.<\/p>\n

The duo eventually crashed into an oncoming car two blocks away \u2014 throwing the passenger to the pavement so hard that his shoes flew off his feet, police officials said.<\/p>\n

The passenger was rushed to Brooklyn Hospital, where he was identified as a person of interest in the deadly shooting and was taken into custody in connection to an unrelated domestic incident, cops said.<\/p>\n
