Fort Greene has a new home for aspiring basketball players. MADE x HMBL, the neighborhood\u2019s newest athletic training facility, is designed to help hoopers of all backgrounds sharpen their skills and chase their dreams, on and off the court.<\/p>\n
For young athletes like Woode, a MADE Hoops youth player, the vision is already clear.<\/p>\n
\u201cI want to be the best NBA player ever,\u201d he said. \u201cI see it for myself every time I come here.\u201d<\/p>\n
That belief is exactly what Brooklyn native and HMBL Development CEO Justin Bright hopes to inspire. At MADE x HMBL Gym, Bright and his team focus on more than just basketball fundamentals. The facility offers daily skill development, strength and conditioning, and plyometric training, all led by professional coaches working with athletes from elementary through high school.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe have sensors throughout the facility that track our players\u2019 shots during workouts,\u201d said General Manager Brendan Callahan. \u201cIt shows makes and misses, along with projected shooting percentages, so athletes can see their progress instantly.\u201d<\/p>\n
With sleek courts, high-tech equipment, and a steady rhythm of basketballs echoing through the space, the gym is built to simulate an elite training environment. <\/p>\n
