BROOKLYN, NY \u2014Police have identified a 7-month-old baby who was shot and killed on a Brooklyn street on Wednesday. <\/p>\n
The mother ran inside a nearby bodega to escape the gunfire where she noticed the baby had been shot.<\/p>\n
The baby was taken to a local hospital but later succumbed to its injuries and was pronounced dead.<\/p>\n
The suspects fled the scene on the moped but crashed a few blocks away. The passenger was injured in the crash and taken to a local hospital. That individual has since been taken into custody. <\/p>\n
The driver of the moped is still at large. No charges have been filed yet. <\/p>\n
