{"id":183505,"date":"2026-04-02T16:06:10","date_gmt":"2026-04-02T16:06:10","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-ny\/183505\/"},"modified":"2026-04-02T16:06:10","modified_gmt":"2026-04-02T16:06:10","slug":"mcdonalds-has-a-new-menu-and-everything-is-under-3","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-ny\/183505\/","title":{"rendered":"McDonald\u2019s has a new menu\u00a0&#8212;\u00a0and everything is\u00a0under $3"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Some McDonald\u2019s items will soon cost less than <a href=\"https:\/\/nypost.com\/2026\/01\/04\/us-news\/nyc-subways-jump-to-crazy-3-per-ride-and-straphangers-arent-happy\/#:~:text=Subway%20rides%20will%20now%20cost,the%20%242.90%20established%20in%202023.&amp;text=%E2%80%9CI%20just%20know%20it&#039;s%20gonna,%2C%20%E2%80%9CIt&#039;s%20f%E2%80%93ked.\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">a ride on the New York City subway<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The fast-food giant <a href=\"https:\/\/corporate.mcdonalds.com\/corpmcd\/our-stories\/article\/mcdolands-usa-introduces-mcvalue.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">announced<\/a> Thursday that starting April 21, value offerings will expand with a revamped menu and more discounts.<\/p>\n<p>McDonald\u2019s has unveiled their brand-new Under $3 Menu with at least 10 menu items available throughout the day, allowing customers to mix and match at a low price.<\/p>\n<p>The Under $3 Menu includes breakfast items such as the Sausage McMuffin, Sausage Biscuit, Sausage Burrito, Hash Browns and a medium McCaf\u00e9 Premium Roast Coffee.<\/p>\n<p>For lunch and dinner, the same value applies to the McChicken, McDouble, 4-Piece Chicken McNuggets, small fries and a medium soft drink.<\/p>\n<p>Throughout the year, McDonald\u2019s noted that they will spotlight select Under $3 items at an even lower price for a limited time nationwide. Their first spotlights will be the Sausage McMuffin for just $1.50 and the McDouble for $2.50.<\/p>\n<p>The Under $3 Menu will have at least 10 menu items available throughout the day. McDonald&#8217;s<\/p>\n<p>In addition to the Under $3 Menu, McDonald\u2019s is bringing the Meal Deal to breakfast for just $4. Fans will be able to choose a Sausage McMuffin or Sausage Biscuit for their entr\u00e9e, which will be served with hash browns and a small McCaf\u00e9 Premium Roast Coffee.<\/p>\n<p>Meal Deals beyond breakfast will continue, starting at $5. Fans choose between a McChicken Meal Deal for $5 or a McDouble Meal Deal for $6.<\/p>\n<p>Both Meal Deals come with 4-piece McNuggets, small fries and a small soft drink.<\/p>\n<p>McDonald\u2019s is bringing the Meal Deal to breakfast for just $4. McDonald&#8217;s<\/p>\n<p>\u201cValue at McDonald\u2019s isn\u2019t a moment \u2013 it\u2019s a journey we\u2019ve been building together over time,\u201d Scott Rodrick, McDonald\u2019s Owner\/Operator and OPNAD Chair, said in a statement.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis next evolution of McValue builds on what fans already love, and as franchisees, we\u2019re excited to offer fans more options that fit their lives, routines and budgets.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>McDonald\u2019s fans seemed to have mixed opinions <a href=\"https:\/\/www.reddit.com\/r\/McDonalds\/comments\/1rwhplq\/mcdonalds_newest_3_value_menu_is_sounding_an\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">online<\/a> when talk of the Under $3 Menu started floating a couple weeks ago.<\/p>\n<p>Many noted they wished McDonald\u2019s would bring back the dollar menu instead, though some pointed out that this is the new version of the dollar menu.<\/p>\n<p>McDonald\u2019s will spotlight select Under $3 items at an even lower price for a limited time nationwide.
