Developed by Five Points Development and designed by Meganom, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cityrealty.com\/nyc\/flatiron-union-square\/262-fifth-avenue\/83713\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\" title=\"\">262 Fifth Avenue<\/a> is a 52-story tower in Nomad with only 26 full-floor and duplex residences. In addition to new images, the developer launched a <a href=\"https:\/\/262fifthavenue.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\" title=\"\">teaser website<\/a> for the building and announced a new sales team from Sotheby\u2019s International Realty.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1040\" height=\"693\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-ny\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/04\/262-Fifth-Avenue-Exterior-1040x693.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-235904\"  \/><\/p>\n<p>About a decade in the works, the super-skinny, rectangular structure, with a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.archpaper.com\/2025\/12\/meganom-262-fifth-avenue-supertall\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\" title=\"\">footprint of just<\/a> 2,211 square feet, will have an incredible observation deck-like rooftop with an infinity pool and exceptional views of Manhattan to the north and south.<\/p>\n<p>Five Points has tapped Nikki Field and Ben Pofcher of the Field Team at Sotheby\u2019s International Realty to lead sales, working in collaboration with Sotheby\u2019s International Realty Development Advisors. <\/p>\n<p>Field and Pofcher previously led sales at 111 West 57th Street, also a skinny skyscraper where 21 residences sold within 18 months after they joined the team in July 2024.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cPositioned on one of the world\u2019s most iconic avenues, this project carries a level of prestige that deeply resonates with today\u2019s selective buyers. What distinguishes this residence is not only its revolutionary architecture and engineering, but its intentional focus on wellness and longevity,\u201d Field said.<\/p>\n<p>Featuring interior design by Norm Architects, the firm\u2019s first New York project, condos at 262 Fifth Avenue are designed to maximize space, light, and privacy. Each home offers column-free interiors with sweeping, uninterrupted views of the Manhattan skyline.<\/p>\n<p>Plans for the supertall were first filed <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cityrealty.com\/nyc\/market-insight\/features\/the-new-skyline\/see-how-kuzinezs-fifth-avenue-supertower-could-transform-manhattan-skyline\/6081\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\" title=\"\">in September 2016<\/a> by Israeli-Russian billionaire Boris Kuzinez, who is known for transforming Moscow\u2019s Ostozhenka Street into a \u201cRussian Billionaires\u2019 Row.\u201d Initial plans called for a 54-story, 928-foot mixed-use tower, but the design changed a few times, with the height increasing to over 1,000 feet before being reduced to its current 860 feet.<\/p>\n<p>Two vacant prewar buildings at 262 and 264 Fifth Avenue were demolished to make way for the project, while a historic 12-story structure is being incorporated into the new building\u2019s base.<\/p>\n<p>Amenities include a fitness center, a common terrace, an arched rooftop terrace offering views similar to those enjoyed from the Empire State Building\u2019s Observation Deck, and an infinity pool.<\/p>\n<p>Private showings are set to begin next month. Pricing will start at $7.5 million for full-floor units, $8.75 million for mezzanine residences, and $18 million for duplex residences.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cRealized by a highly integrated team across architecture, design and engineering, the building reflects both design brilliance and a forward-thinking approach to sustainable, responsible living,\u201d Kuzinez said in a statement.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAs we near completion, we will begin engaging a select group of buyers, presenting a limited and highly considered residential o\ufb00ering.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>When the building topped out in 2024, some New Yorkers criticized the tower for blocking long-cherished views.
