QUEENS, New York (WABC) — Two people were taken to the hospital after a white substance was reportedly found inside Queens Criminal Court on Thursday, according to authorities.<\/p>\n

The FDNY responded just before 5 p.m. to 125-01 Queens Boulevard between Hoover Avenue and 82nd Avenue for a reported white substance with people feeling ill inside the courthouse.<\/p>\n

Officials say there were four civilians with minor injuries. Two were taken to Queens General, and two refused medical attention.<\/p>\n

Hazmat is on scene.<\/p>\n

Officials say the courthouse closed normally around 6:20 p.m.<\/p>\n

No further details have been provided.<\/p>\n
