COURTHOUSE,
\n April 2 \u2013 Charles White is
\n charged with a role in eight
\n armed robberies in The Bronx
\n in 2022. On April 29 he
\n appeared before U.S. District
\n Court for the Southern
\n District of New York
\n Magistrate Judge Barbara C.
\n Moses. Inner City Press was
\n there, the only media in the
\n SDNY Mag Court. <\/p>\n

\u00a0 The
\n charged robberies including a
\n deli on West Fordham Road, a
\n smoke and lottery shop, a
\n laundromat, a hotel and a gas
\n station. <\/p>\n

\u00a0 Before
\n being brought up, there were
\n loud noises from the holding
\n cell, and some doubt if the
\n proceeding would take place.
\n It did, and White was detained
\n on consent. He will soon see
\n the assigned District Judge,
\n Jennifer L. Rochon. <\/p>\n

On November 17,
\n 2025 he pled guilty.<\/p>\n

On April 2, 2026,
\n for an April 9 sentencing, the
\n US Attorney’s Office wrote in
\n asking for at least 96 months,
\n with numerous redactions in
\n its memo.<\/p>\n

\n is US v. White, 24-cr-239
\n (Rochon \/ Moses)<\/p>\n
