MR. RANGER AWARD – Prior to the game, J.T. Miller was named the recipient of the fifth annual Rod Gilbert\u00a0\u201cMr. Ranger\u201d Award, given to the Rangers player \u201cwho best honors Rod\u2019s legacy by exemplifying leadership qualitie\u00a0both on and off the ice, and making a significant humanitarian contribution to his community.\u201d In January, Miller and\u00a0his wife, Natalie, donated $154,000 to the Garden of Dreams Foundation, the largest donation to Garden of Dreams\u00a0made by a player in franchise history.<\/p>\n
