EAST WILLIAMSBURG, Brooklyn (WABC) — A manhunt has entered the third day Friday as police search for the second suspect wanted in connection to the deadly shooting of a baby girl in Brooklyn<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The alleged gunman was a passenger on a moped and is in custody, but NYPD officers are looking for the driver of the moped.<\/p>\n

The suspected gunman, 21-year-old Amuri Greene, has been charged with murder, attempted murder and assault. He remains in the hospital for a broken leg and his arraignment is pending.<\/p>\n

Police say they know the identity of the second suspect they are looking for but declined to release his name.<\/p>\n

Officials say the second suspect, was identified through his suspected gang ties and his fingerprints left on the scooter, recovered by police in the hours after the shooting.<\/p>\n

He just turned 18 years old and most of his interaction with police has been as a juvenile. Greene also has a juvenile record which police are unable to discuss because it is sealed.<\/p>\n

The 7-month-old child, Kaori Patterson-Moore, was being pushed in a stroller by her mother when shots rang out on Wednesday at Humboldt and Moore streets around 1 p.m.<\/p>\n

As people ran for cover, the baby’s mother, father and 2-year-old brother fled to a nearby bodega where they realized the baby had been shot. The child’s father ran to the nearby Woodhull Hospital with the baby where she was pronounced dead.<\/p>\n

The baby’s family said she was just started to talk and say the word “mama.”<\/p>\n

Attorney General Letitia James will attend a noon vigil Saturday for the 7-month-old girl, organized by local clergy.<\/p>\n
