1 suspect charged, 1 still missing<\/p>\n
The NYPD believes Greene, 21, was on the back of a scooter when he pulled the trigger in a gang-related shooting on Wednesday afternoon, killing the baby being pushed in a stroller along Humboldt Street.<\/p>\n
“We know that he is a gang associate out of the Marcy Houses. And at this point right now, there is a gang in the Bushwick Houses called M.O.E., and we’re looking to see the possible connection,” NYPD Chief of Detectives Joseph Kenny said.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The New York City Police Department asked for help identifying two individuals wanted in connection with the shooting that killed a baby in Brooklyn.<\/p>\n

Greene was also charged with five counts of criminal possession of a weapon, two counts of attempted criminal possession of a weapon, and two counts of assault.\u00a0 \u00a0<\/p>\n
He was in police custody at the hospital and no date for his arraignment has been set, according to officials.\u00a0<\/p>\n
The scooter driver, who crashed into oncoming traffic after the gunfire, has not been caught, police said. \u00a0<\/p>\n
Neighbors determined to track down driver<\/p>\n
Neighborhood residents said they’re determined to help investigators find the second suspect who killed their neighbor, Lianna Charles-Moore’s daughter<\/a>.\u00a0<\/p>\n “She didn’t deserve that. She’s just learning how to talk, how to sit up and do things for herself,” Tykasia Mccants said.<\/p>\n “If you’re human, you feel for the parents of that child, and I hope those two guys never get the chance to walk the streets, like that baby never got a chance to walk,” another neighbor said.\u00a0<\/p>\n Investigators are asking anyone with information about the second suspect to call the NYPD’s Crime Stoppers hotline at\u00a01-800-577-TIPS (8477), or for Spanish,\u00a01-888-57-PISTA (74782). All calls are kept confidential.\u00a0<\/p>\n Neighborhood full of grief<\/p>\n Family and friends will hold a candlelight vigil Friday and release pink balloons into the night sky Friday at the corner where 7-month-old Kaori was slain.\u00a0<\/p>\n A memorial with teddy bears and Easter bunnies has been growing at the scene since the shooting.\u00a0<\/p>\n 7-month-old Kaori Patterson-Moore<\/p>\n The pain has been especially strong among parents in the neighborhood.\u00a0<\/p>\n “I know what they’re going through right now, so [this is] to show my respect and condolences for the family,” Charles Ford said.\u00a0<\/p>\n “It gave me chills when I seen her mom crying, and I tell my mother I have to come and bring something,” Mccants said.\u00a0<\/p>\n Charles-Moore discussed the grief of losing her daughter in an exclusive interview<\/a> with CBS News New York on Thursday.\u00a0<\/p>\n “I can’t smell her, can’t kiss her. I can’t wake up and feed her her bottle. I can’t dress her.
