A second person has been arrested in connection with the shooting death of a 7-month-old baby<\/a> in Brooklyn, the NYPD announced Friday.<\/p>\n

Police said 18-year-old Matthew Rodriguez was taken into custody by NYPD detectives assigned to the U.S. Marshals Regional Fugitive Task Force in Pennsylvania. Charges against him are pending, according to authorities.<\/p>\n

Authorities said Patterson-Moore was struck by a bullet while sitting in a stroller near Humboldt and Moore streets in Williamsburg on Wednesday. According to police, the two suspects were driving a scooter, and the person riding on the back of the scooter fired the shot that struck Patterson-Moore.<\/p>\n

Patterson-Moore\u2019s father rushed her to a local hospital, where she later died, according to authorities.<\/p>\n

The two suspects fled the scene after the shooting before crashing the scooter they were driving, authorities said.<\/p>\n

Police said Greene was taken to a local hospital<\/a> for injuries after the crash, where he remains hospitalized. He has not yet been arraigned.<\/p>\n

Authorities had been searching for the alleged second person on the scooter in the two days after the shooting took place.<\/p>\n

Patterson-Moore wasn\u2019t believed to be the intended target of the shooting.
