Avon, N.Y. \u2014 Vintage Drive-In on West Henrietta Road is now open for the season!<\/p>\n

Guests at Friday’s opening night got to pick from two double feature options. One included “Project Hail Mary” followed by “Crime 101.”<\/p>\n

The other featured “Super Mario Galaxy” following the “Goat,” an animated sports film.<\/p>\n

“It’s different than going to movie theater,” said Paul Pescrillo, the drive-in’s head manager. “You’re in your own car. You’re able to watch the movie the way you want to watch the movie. No reserved seat like the movie theater, for example.”<\/p>\n

“We like being outside to see the movie,” said Sarah Mullan, who attended with her family. “The snacks, and quality time together.”<\/p>\n

“I used to come here when I was younger, so it’s fun to come back again,” Mullan added.<\/p>\n

The drive-in is open Friday through Sunday starting at 7 p.m. every week until the end of May, when it will start opening every day of the week. The drive-in opens at 8 p.m. Monday through Thursday.<\/p>\n
