King Charles and Queen Camilla have been joined by other members of the Royal Family for the traditional Easter Sunday service at Windsor Castle.<\/p>\n

The Prince and Princess of Wales accompanied the royal couple with their three children, Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis.<\/p>\n

Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie are notably absent from the ceremony today, having made alternative plans with the approval of the King.<\/p>\n

Prince Edward and his son James, Earl of Wessex, were both in attendance, as well as Princess Anne and her husband, Sir Timothy Laurence.<\/p>\n

Prince William could be seen saying “Happy Easter” to the King and Queen, who were driven down to St George’s Chapel as other senior members walked down.<\/p>\n

Numerous fans were in attendance to get a glimpse of the royals as they made their way to the Easter Matins service.<\/p>\n

The sun crept out as the royals arrived on what had been a blustery and chilly day in Berkshire.<\/p>\n

Last year, Charles and Camilla attended the 15th-century chapel on Easter Sunday with Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor and his ex-wife, Sarah Ferguson.<\/p>\n

Since then, the King has stripped Andrew of his prince titles, with the former Duke of York being arrested on his 66th birthday on suspicion of misconduct in public office.<\/p>\n

Andrew has denied all wrongdoing, but has not responded to the latest allegations.<\/p>\n

He is currently residing at Wood Farm amid his anticipated move to Marsh Farm, having been booted out of Royal Lodge, his home for more than two decades.<\/p>\n

The Easter service comes days after Buckingham Palace announced the King’s State Visit to the US will go ahead from April 27 to April 30 as planned.<\/p>\n

The announcement comes despite tensions between President Donald Trump and Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer over the Iran war.<\/p>\n

His Majesty will hold talks with the US President Donald Trump and address both Houses of Congress during his visit to commemorate 250 years since the declaration of American independence.<\/p>\n

The visit will be Mr Trump’s first state dinner at the White House during his second term and mark His Majesty’s first trip to America as Britain’s monarch.<\/p>\n

Sir Keir will be hoping for the State Visit to strengthen the UK’s special relationship with the US, especially after a lengthy period of tension<\/a> between the Prime Minister and the President.<\/p>\n

A statement from Buckingham Palace said: “Their Majesties’ programme will celebrate the historic connections and the modern bilateral relationship between the United Kingdom and the United States, marking the 250th anniversary of American Independence.”<\/p>\n

The programme will include a state dinner at the White House and an address to Congress.<\/p>\n

President Trump revealed that the state dinner would take place during a press conference last week.<\/p>\n

The President told GB News regarding the monarch: “He is a friend of mine, he is a great gentleman. As you know, he honoured me and our country. We had an amazing time.<\/p>\n

“I have known him as Prince Charles, I know him as King Charles, I am proud of him.<\/p>\n
