When New Yorkers go to the polls to elect a new mayor next month, they will also be voting on a series of ballot proposals that could significantly alter how the city approves or denies housing developments.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>There are a total of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nycvotes.org\/whats-on-the-ballot\/2025-general-election\/2025-ballot-proposals\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">six proposals on the ballot<\/a> on Nov. 4, five of which were endorsed by Mayor Eric Adams and drafted by his appointees on the Charter Review Commission (CRC).
