It\u2019s fair to say at this point that no one in the British royal family wants anything to do with the former prince Andrew or his ex-wife, Fergie<\/a>. Whether that is because they are genuinely appalled by their connections to convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein<\/a>, or because at this point damage control for the monarchy involves keeping their distance, it\u2019s hard to tell.<\/p>\n

But perhaps the latest report about Prince William<\/a> and Kate Middleton<\/a>\u2019s reaction to Fergie\u2019s suggestions that she was getting \u201cadvice\u201d from Queen Elizabeth<\/a> through her corgis is not that surprising. According to RadarOnline,<\/a> the two are \u201cappalled\u201d by the claims.<\/p>\n

\u201cI have her dogs. I have her corgis, so every morning they come in and go, \u2018Woof, woof,\u2019 and all that and I\u2019m sure it\u2019s her talking to me,\u201d Ferguson said during an appearance at the Creative Women Platform Forum in London last year. She then told the audience that when the dogs barked at nothing, \u201cI believe it\u2019s because the Queen is passing by.\u201d<\/p>\n

And Tom Sykes\u2019\u00a0The Royalist Substack<\/a>\u00a0claims the declarations have caused \u201cintense irritation\u201d for the Prince and Princess of Wales. \u201cWilliam and Catherine, along with those who actually cared for and spent time with the Queen in her final months, such as her oldest friend and dresser, Angela Kelly, thought it was a bizarre and tasteless way for Sarah to boast, erroneously in their opinion, of her spiritual closeness to Elizabeth.\u201d<\/p>\n

He added, \u201cThey also found it distasteful that Sarah pretended to friends that she had been \u2018left\u2019 the dogs in the late sovereign\u2019s will, when, in fact, they were simply returned to Andrew and Sarah who had given the Queen the dogs, Sandy and Muick, without consulting with other members of the family, in 2021.\u201d<\/p>\n

RadarOnline\u2019s sources said, \u201cSarah insists the Queen\u2019s spirit lives on through those dogs. She says they comfort her and even guide her decisions, and are helping give her advice about what to do since she now faces life without a duchess title and is having to leave her Royal Lodge home.\u201d<\/p>\n

The corgis are, at this point in time, reportedly with Andrew at Wood Farm. Fergie has not been seen in public since last year.<\/p>\n

\u201cSome people at the palace think it\u2019s sweet \u2013 others whisper she\u2019s gone completely mad and she\u2019s losing her mind, while William and Kate remain horrified by the claim,\u201d the outlet\u2019s source claimed.<\/p>\n

And even Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie are reportedly worried about both Andrew and Sarah Ferguson. One royal aide said, \u201cThe sisters adore both their parents, but it\u2019s been an incredibly hard year.<\/p>\n

\u201cTheir mother\u2019s finding comfort in talking to the dogs as if the Queen\u2019s spirit is with her, and their father\u2019s been cast out. None of them could have predicted life turning out this way.\u201d<\/p>\n

There were even recent reports that Ferguson was considering joining a reality show centered on cloning the late queen\u2019s corgis. A representative for Ferguson said, \u201cMs. Ferguson regularly receives varied TV offers and proposals \u2013 often for reality shows which she always declines.\u201d The spokesperson added \u201cto be absolutely clear\u201d she \u201cdeclined the proposal\u201d about the reality show involving the queen\u2019s corgis.<\/p>\n
