The firm will leave 2 Grand Central Tower for Rudin\u2019s 560 Lexington Ave., where it will have 39,552 square feet. The asking rent was $84 per square foot.<\/p>\n<p><img style=\"aspect-ratio:1.50146628;display:block\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" data-modal-image=\"38997829\" width=\"886\" height=\"590\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-ny\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/04\/global-financial-platform-marex-move-125064508.jpg\" alt=\"Facade of 2 Grand Central Tower in New York City.\" class=\"wp-image-38997829\"  \/>Marex will move to nearly 40,000 square feet of space at 560 Lexington Ave. google maps<\/p>\n<p>Marex was represented by JLL\u2019s Matthew Astrachan, Seth Godinck and Krissy Kopans. The landlord was repped by CBRE\u2019s Peter Turchin, Brett Shannon, Eric Deutch and \u00a0Jacob Rosenthal.<\/p>\n<p>Marex\u2019s former space at 2 Grand Central will be put up for sublease as part of an 80,000 square-foot block. The tower is now owned by Sovereign Partners.<\/p>\n<p>The first quarter saw strong office leasing in all submarkets, JLL reported. Overall Manhattan vacancy of 13.5% \u00a0was down 2.2% year-over-year. Leasing volume for\u00a0the first three months of 2026 hit 8.5 million square feet.<\/p>\n<p>Asking rents rose in the first quarter 3.35% year-over-year, according to JLL.
