Times Square is the throbbing heart of New York<\/a>, thronged from early morning until late at night with theatergoers<\/a>, thrill seekers, skateboard riders, touts dressed in idiotic costumes, wedding guests, sanitation workers, and just plain tourists<\/a>. It may come as no surprise that most New Yorkers who don\u2019t have to work in the immediate vicinity avoid it like a plague.<\/p>\n

Well, that\u2019s not strictly true. Times Square is home to some of the city\u2019s most desirable eateries at a wide price range<\/a> \u2014 if only you can find them. For this map, we\u2019ve expanded the boundaries to include the Theater District.<\/p>\n

For this update: We\u2019ve added Sake Bar Hagi, Thai go-to Chalong, and Charlie Palmer IV. We\u2019ve also trimmed some of the far north restaurants from the last map.<\/p>\n
