A section of Bruckner Boulevard was closed off on Sunday after two cars went up in flames.<\/p>\n
Firefighters received the call about two cars on fire at 12:17pm. <\/p>\n
Video shared by a viewer showed thick smoke billowing from the cars, as they were engulfed in flames.<\/p>\n
There were no reported injuries.<\/p>\n
An eyewitness told News 12 the fire was a result of the two cars crashing into each other. <\/p>\n
While tow trucks worked to remove what was left of the charred vehicles, part of Bruckner Boulevard was closed off.<\/p>\n
The closure rerouted traffic down Faile Street and forced long waits for drivers. <\/p>\n
Some drivers told News 12 they were stuck in traffic for an hour, while others said it was not surprising, and long waits are part of their daily commutes.<\/p>\n
