The National Weather Service in Albany says light snow could fall on the area between Monday evening and Tuesday.<\/p>\n
Don\u2019t worry, though, the snow totals will be at most modest and at least hardly noticeable. Still, meteorologists said roads could be slick on Tuesday.<\/p>\n
The weather service says a fast-moving winter storm should arrive either late Monday or early Tuesday, bringing a mix of rain and snow. Accumulation totals could vary based on the storm\u2019s final track.<\/p>\n
The weather service says between a coating and 2 inches of snow could fall where the \u201cmost persistent snow showers set up.\u201d<\/p>\n
So far, a half inch is expected to fall in Albany, with similar amounts expected in the Hudson Valley. Some communities in the Catskill Mountains might receive up to an inch, and the central Adirondack Mountains could see up to 3 inches.<\/p>\n
Whatever falls will not last long.
