QUEENS, N.Y. (PIX11) \u2014 A 15-year-old boy was slashed in the face multiple times on a Queens subway train last week, police said Monday.<\/p>\n

The teen was attacked on a northbound A train at around 7:15 a.m. on March 30, according to the NYPD.<\/p>\n

The suspect allegedly slashed the boy in the face multiple times before getting off the train at the Broad Channel subway station, police said.<\/p>\n

The victim was treated at a local hospital.<\/p>\n

The suspect is about 15 to 18 years old and was last seen wearing black jacket, blue jeans, and black shoes, police said.<\/p>\n

There have been no arrests.<\/p>\n

There have been more than 500 crimes committed in transit this year, which is down nearly 4% from last year at the same time, according to NYPD data.<\/p>\n
