There were no injuries reported after the FDNY were called to an incident in the Bedford Park section of The Bronx on Sunday, April 5 (Easter Sunday), FDNY officials said.<\/p>\n

A department spokesperson said the FDNY received a call at 4.24 p.m. for a report of an e-bike battery that was sparking at 3044 Valentine Avenue, located between East 204th Street and East 203rd Street.<\/p>\n
\u00a0<\/p>\n
The spokesperson said the battery was removed to another street and submerged in water, no injuries were reported and the incident was closed at 4.53 p.m.<\/p>\n

Similarly, there were no injuries<\/a> reported after an e-bike fire in the University Heights section of The Bronx on Thursday,\u00a0 April 2.<\/p>\n \u00a0<\/p>\n Following the gas explosion and 4-alarm fire at NYCHA\u2019s Boston Secor Houses<\/a> in the Eastchester section of The Bronx on Jan. 24, a female resident who lived on the 16th floor, where the explosion took place, has launched a gofundme page to request help rebuilding her life. Two days prior, 14 firefighters incurred minor injuries with Engine 79\u2019s firehouse caught\u00a0fire<\/a>\u00a0and causing it to be shuttered for now.<\/p>\n Meanwhile, one person\u00a0died<\/a>\u00a0and nine people were injured following a fire in the Belmont section of The Bronx on Thursday, March 26.<\/p>\n \u00a0<\/p>\n There were no\u00a0injuries reported<\/a>\u00a0following a separate residential fire in the Kingsbridge Heights section of The Bronx that also broke out in the early hours of Thursday, March 26, FDNY officials said.<\/p>\n \u00a0<\/p>\n Also, as\u00a0reported<\/a>, thirteen people were reported injured following an afternoon residential fire in the Kingsbridge section of The Bronx on Tuesday, March 17, [St. Patrick\u2019s Day] in a six-building complex which houses around seven daycare centers.<\/p>\n \u00a0<\/p>\n That incident followed another large fire, as\u00a0reported<\/a>, where several small businesses were damaged on East Gun Hill Road in the Laconia section of the East Bronx on March 6. The latest fires prompted Bronx Borough President Vanessa Gibson and the FDNY to launch a further series of fire education and safety workshops across the borough last month.<\/p>\n \u00a0<\/p>\n
