The gunman who fatally shot a man in Brooklyn and injured another during an Easter Sunday dispute was officially charged with murder on Monday.<\/p>\n

The gunman who fatally shot a man in Brooklyn<\/a> and injured another during an Easter Sunday dispute was officially charged on Monday.<\/p>\n

According to police sources, 24-year-old Michael Mendoza Cardona was charged on April 6 with murder, attempted murder, and two counts of criminal possession of a weapon.\n<\/p>\n

Cardona was cuffed after allegedly walking up to a group outside of a deli located at 2961 Fulton St. in Cypress Hills just before 6 p.m. on April 5 and unloading a hail of gunfire on two men.\n<\/p>\n

Police<\/a> said a 30-year-old man and a 50-year-old man were shot multiple times throughout their bodies. Cops said the suspect allegedly continued to fire off rounds after they hit the ground.<\/p>\n

EMS rushed them to Brookdale Hospital, where they were listed in critical condition. The 30-year-old victim, who has been identified as Jos\u00e9 Urna Moran, was later pronounced dead. The 50-year-old remains in critical condition.<\/p>\n

While police did not provide an exact motive for the slaying, they stated that it was sparked by some kind of dispute.\n<\/p>\n
