Google Maps<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/nypost.com\/2026\/04\/06\/us-news\/delivery-driver-crushed-to-death-as-he-tries-to-stop-carjacker\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">The quarrel came<\/a> after Davis caught the miscreants, 22 and 23, trying to steal the mirrors off his personal vehicle, cops said.<\/p>\n<p>The victims were both injured but refused medical attention at the scene, according to cops.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Davis was arrested shortly after the incident, which happened outside the Parks Dept.\u2019s Citywide Services Shop on East 138th\u00a0Street near Walnut Avenue, authorities said.<\/p>\n<p>He was charged with <a href=\"https:\/\/nypost.com\/2026\/02\/20\/us-news\/nyc-teens-charged-in-queensboro-bridge-tiktok-stunt-fail\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">reckless endangerment<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/nypost.com\/2026\/04\/05\/us-news\/video-shows-crazy-road-rage-cat-fight-that-has-witness-begging-priest-for-a-blessing\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">vehicular assault<\/a>, police said.<\/p>\n<p>Davis was a seasonal worker who was first hired in February 2023 as part of the <a href=\"https:\/\/nypost.com\/2026\/04\/05\/us-news\/nyc-park-project-could-push-local-extinction-of-birds-critics\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Parks Opportunity Program <\/a>and was brought back on in January, a department spokesperson told The Post.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><img style=\"aspect-ratio:1.49926794;display:block\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" data-modal-image=\"39009936\" width=\"885\" height=\"590\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-ny\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/04\/postinhouse-nypostinhouse-police-car-light-100109622.jpg\" alt=\"Emergency red and blue police car lights.\" class=\"wp-image-39009936\"  \/>Davis was suspended from his seasonal Parks Dept. job and faces reckless endangerment charges.
