In The Bronx, overall rape cases are up 13%.<\/p>\n<p>This comes after a <a href=\"https:\/\/bronx.news12.com\/man-arrested-and-charged-after-the-rape-of-16-year-old-girl-in-kingsbridge\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">16-year-old girl <\/a>was allegedly raped by 25-year-old Edward Iciano over the weekend. Police say it happened in the middle of the night Friday inside a building on Davidson Avenue. Sources say the two knew each other. He is now out on bail and facing two counts of rape.<\/p>\n<p>The 50 PCT covers Riverdale, Fieldston, Kingsbridge, Marble Hill, and Spuyten Duyvil.<\/p>\n<p>In New York City, police officers are trained to attend to the health and safety of victims.
