Sheinelle Jones just told a terrifying cautionary tale on TODAY with Jenna & Sheinelle<\/a>, so make sure you take heed.<\/p>\n

The TV host recalled a time when she was on an Amtrak train from Philadelphia to New York City and fell asleep for so long that she woke up in a dark station, stuck on the train and all alone.<\/p>\n

\u201cI got a little sleepy because I had had a long day, and so I fell asleep,\u201d Jones explained to her co-host Jenna Bush Hager. \u201cAnd then you know, you stop moving, but you feel like, \u2018Oh it\u2019s probably because it\u2019s not time and we\u2019re not in Moynihan, we\u2019re not in New York City.\u2019 Well, I was supposed to get in around, I don\u2019t know, like 10 or something. I woke up, and there was no one on the train.\u201d<\/p>\n

Speaking for all of us, Bush Hager chimed in, \u201cThat is a nightmare!\u201d<\/p>\n

At this point, Jones realized that it was 12:20 am.<\/p>\n

\u201cSo you\u2019d been asleep for two hours underground?\u201d a shocked JBH asked.<\/p>\n

\u201cFor two hours, in the depths of New York City,\u201d Jones confirmed.<\/p>\n

The two women shared their shock that no one had thought to wake up a sleeping woman on a train that had arrived at its last stop, agreeing that it seemed like basic courtesy.<\/p>\n

Jones then tried to find a solution to get herself off the train and back home.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe train is long, Amtrak, so I went all the way down, I\u2019m like surely I\u2019ll find like a conductor or something,\u201d she said. \u201cSo then I\u2019m like, no problem, I\u2019ll just push the exit thing. So I go over to the door, and I\u2019m like, there\u2019s a red button. And I\u2019m like, \u2018Oh, it\u2019s not opening.\u2019 And then I try to pry the door open, and then it hits me after a few minutes like, \u2018Oh, I\u2019m stuck. On the train. I\u2019m stuck.’\u201d<\/p>\n

In the end, Jones decided there was nothing to do but to call 911, which Bush Hager agreed was the right move. \u201cI said, \u2018I\u2019m really embarrassed about this, but I\u2019m stuck on the train in Moynihan in New York City, and there\u2019s no one on the train, and it\u2019s really dark. Can you come get me?’\u201d Jones recalled of her conversation with emergency services.<\/p>\n

She was asked to provide more details, but she could barely share any because the train was plunged into darkness.<\/p>\n

\u201cSo she says, \u2018Stay right there,\u2019 which, where else am I going?\u201d Jones continued. \u201cAnd then I felt like a toddler. I was like, \u2018Will you stay on the phone with me?’\u201d<\/p>\n

When Bush Hager exclaimed, \u201cAww!\u201d Jones quickly told her with a laugh, \u201cOh, shut up!\u201d<\/p>\n

Thankfully, police arrived in just 11 minutes to rescue the TV star, and one of the cops even asked her to take a selfie with them because his wife is a big fan.
