Peter Gerber<\/p>\n<p>The body was so badly decomposed that cops weren\u2019t immediately able to determine the person\u2019s gender, authorities said.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The city medical examiner\u2019s office will conduct a forensic investigation to determine the cause of death, too, police said.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>It was not immediately clear who found the body or notified police.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The investigation is ongoing.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"A rotting skeletal body was found under a Queens highway overpass Tuesday morning, cops said.
