New York-based pet health and nutrition company Spot & Tango is looking for two contractors to sniff dog breath and accept dog kisses for a price. The subscription brand posted job listings on its careers<\/a> website for a dog breath sniffer<\/a> and a dog kisser<\/a> this week, and the qualifications are plenty.<\/p>\n Each gig lists a starting pay of up to $1,000 an hour, but you\u2019ll need to jump through a few hoops first.<\/p>\n The company\u2019s ideal breath sniffer is someone who \u201ccan detect even the faintest hint of funk,\u201d according to the job description. A strong sense of smell and a love for dogs are must-haves.<\/p>\n \u201cWe need someone brave, bold, and nosy (literally) to get up close and personal with NYC\u2019s finest canines,\u201d the ad says.<\/p>\n Close-up breath assessments will come from canine focus groups and you\u2019ll need to keep detailed notes. They want to know: Is there a \u201chint of tuna? Eau de garbage? Delightfully neutral?\u201d<\/p>\n As for the ideal dog kisser, Spot & Tango asks that you hit New York City parks and \u201cmeet the pups, receive the kisses, and report back.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cThink of yourself as a one-person focus group for canine confidence,\u201d the ad says.<\/p>\n The prospective smoocher will accept kisses, rate and document each interaction, scout and recruit dog ambassadors throughout the city and feed insights back to the team.
