NEW YORK, NY \u2014 A new financial coaching program aims at helping small business owners strengthen their personal and business finances.<\/p>\n

The Economic Development and Growth for Entrepreneurs, or EDGE, program offers eight months of no-cost coaching, small-group sessions and one-on-one guidance to low- to moderate-income entrepreneurs in New York City and Westchester County.<\/p>\n

The program follows the Financial Health Network\u2019s FinHealth Score framework, focusing on four areas: spending, saving, borrowing and planning. <\/p>\n

Organizers said the structure is designed to help participants build stronger financial habits and improve long-term stability.<\/p>\n

The initiative stems from the Citi Foundation\u2019s Community Finance Initiative, which supports organizations providing financial coaching nationwide. <\/p>\n

More than 200 small business owners have enrolled, with applications accepted on a rolling basis. <\/p>\n

Coaching will continue through September 2026.<\/p>\n

Participants who complete all program modules and demonstrate measurable financial progress may qualify for monetary awards to reinvest in their businesses.<\/p>\n
