Jasveen Sangha, also known as the \u201cKetamine Queen,\u201d pleaded guilty to her involvement in Matthew Perry\u2019s overdose after she sold him the vial that ultimately killed him. Now, the \u201cFriends\u201d star\u2019s stepmother is opening up about the anguish she and other loved ones have been through since the actor passed in 2023.<\/p>\n
Debbie Perry wrote in a victim impact statement ahead of Sangha\u2019s sentencing hearing, “The pain you’ve caused to hundreds, maybe thousands, is irreversible. There is no joy to be found, no light in the window. They won’t be back,” per People.<\/a><\/p>\n The statement continued, \u201cYou caused this You who has talent for business enough to make money chose the one way that hurts people.\u201d<\/p>\n Debbie concluded her letter by asking the California court to give Sangha a maximum prison sentence so that she “won’t be able to hurt other families like ours.\u201d<\/p>\n Sangha recently took accountability for her actions, saying, “I take full responsibility for my actions and the role I played in the events that led to this tragedy. There are no excuses for what I did. I am deeply sorry for the pain I caused, especially to Matthew’s family. Their loss is unimaginable and permanent. I understand that my conduct \u2013 operating a drug business and continuing down that path \u2013 was reckless, dangerous and wrong,” according to The Sun<\/a>.<\/p>\n Sangha, who could face up to 65 years in prison, added, “I accept the consequences of my actions, and I regret the harm I caused to others, to my family, and to the community. I can’t undo the past but I can now respect the law.
