QUEENS, N.Y. (PIX11) \u2014 A badly decomposed body was found in a storage facility off a Queens highway on Tuesday morning, police said.<\/p>\n

The skeletal remains were found in a storage area under an overpass near the Brooklyn-Queens Expressway and Northern Boulevard Exit at around 11:09 a.m., according to the NYPD.<\/p>\n

The storage area belongs to the Department of Transportation, but it was unclear if a DOT worker found the body, police said.<\/p>\n

The medical examiner will determine the cause of death.<\/p>\n
