On Wednesday evening, the New York Yankees<\/a> lost to the Athletics (in the Bronx) by a score of 3-2.<\/p>\n

They will look to win the series when the two teams face off on Thursday afternoon.<\/p>\n

Ryan McMahon<\/a> finished Wednesday\u2019s loss with two strikeouts and one walk in three at-bats.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s worth noting that the 31-year-old is still owed<\/a> a lot of money this season (and next).<\/p>\n

McMahon was picked in the second round of the 2013 MLB<\/a> Draft.<\/p>\n

He spent the first eight and a half seasons of his career in Colorado (and made the 2024 All-Star Game).<\/p>\n

In six out of his first nine seasons, McMahon hit 20+ home runs.<\/p>\n

Based on the money he\u2019s owed, the Yankees will be hoping for him to return to form at some point soon.<\/p>\n
