A sign on the building reads, \u201cComing Soon! Newly renovated.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Site plans show the exterior will be changed to a flat white color with a purple rim around an orange roof, mirroring the fast food chain\u2019s newer look. Taco Bell unveiled its new logo and color scheme in November 2016 as part of a companywide rebrand.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>An owner of the location could not immediately be reached for comment. Taco Bell and Yum! Brands, which manages Taco Bell stores, did not respond to requests for comment.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Social media posts have generated tens of thousands of views showcasing the location as one of the last of its kind. The posts\u00a0garnered dismay from patrons who\u2019ve ordered at the Glen Cove fast food staple.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI really wish they\u2019d leave it alone,\u201d one commenter wrote.<\/p>\n<p>There are 8,239 Taco Bell restaurants in the U.S., according to ScrapeHero, a data company, including nearly 280 locations in New York.
