THE BRONX, N.Y. (PIX11) \u2014 One person is dead after a traumatic collision with an MTA bus in the Bronx on Wednesday, according to investigators.<\/p>\n
Authorities said a 32-year-old man on a motorcycle crashed into the front driver-side corner of the bus at around 5:15 p.m. on Wednesday.<\/p>\n
More Local News <\/a><\/p>\n Investigators determined that the man, identified as Andy Peralta, made a left turn onto West Mosholu Parkway South, going against the flow of traffic, as the MTA bus was going the other direction.<\/p>\n Peralta, of the Bronx, was launched from the 2025 Zhilong Motorcycle and suffered traumatic injuries to his head, according to police. He was taken to a nearby hospital, where he later died.<\/p>\n There were approximately 20 passengers aboard the bus at the time of the collision.
