Hughes mentioned that those organizations include the Institute for Advanced Manufacturing. He said they are working to train skilled workers to step into certain jobs that have been tough to fill in the past.”We’ve got a lot of local places like the IAM building up at Clinton Community. They’re trying to train people for skilled jobs that we have in the area we haven’t filled, and they’re filling a lot of the voids through the IAM building,” Hughes said. “There’s a lot of different trades they teach up there, and they are showing jobs that have been hard to fill in the past.”Local leaders and state officials say they will continue to monitor employment trends as they work with local leaders to address the concern.\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/p>\n
