Victoria Beckham<\/a>\u2018s son, Brooklyn<\/a>, is reportedly not happy with her past decision to trademark his name. The Spice Girls alum allegedly trademarked the name of her eldest child years back to protect him. In January, Brooklyn dropped bombshells on his Instagram stories by making serious accusations against his parents. Now, as per a source, he wants to regain control of his name. <\/p>\n

According to the Sun<\/a>, Victoria Beckham\u2019s son, Brooklyn, wants his name back, which was trademarked by his mom. Reports have claimed that David<\/a> and Victoria Beckham have offered to meet him to end the rift. However, the meeting will happen with \u201clawyers, the Peltz parents, siblings, a therapist, or a mediator.\u201d The 27-year-old is now allegedly going the legal route to claim ownership of his name.<\/p>\n

A source stated, \u201cVictoria trademarked the Intellectual Property for his full name in 2016-17 in order to protect him.\u201d The fashion designer reportedly made sure \u201cno one else could exploit his famous name.\u201d The source further added, \u201cIt certainly wasn\u2019t a malicious thing, and the view was that Brooklyn could do with it what he wanted in adulthood.\u201d However, \u201cfrom Brooklyn\u2019s perspective, it was yet another example of control being displayed over him.\u201d<\/p>\n

The source continued, \u201cHe feels infantilised and just wants to claw back control over the most simple of things \u2014 his name.\u201d Moreover, Brooklyn \u201cis weighing up all his options, but no decisions have been made yet. In his lengthy Instagram stories, he accused his parents of pressuring him to sign the rights to his name. He wrote, \u201cWeeks before our big day, my parents repeatedly pressured and attempted to bribe me into signing away the rights to my name.\u201d<\/p>\n

Brooklyn added how it would have affected him, his wife, and future kids. \u201cThey were adamant on me signing before my wedding date because then the terms of the deal would be initiated,\u201d he continued.
