Spring marks the return of Brooklyn\u2019s outdoor festival season \u2014 and 2026 is shaping up to be a big one. From the Smorgasburg opening weekend through the West Indian American Day Parade on Labor Day, here\u2019s your guide to the street fairs, cultural celebrations, and open-air events worth putting on the calendar this year.<\/p>\n

The city\u2019s biggest outdoor food market is back for its 16th season, with 74 vendors \u2014 22 of them new \u2014 serving everything from Jamaican coco bread to Korean shaved ice and Colombian grilled meats. The Williamsburg location is at Marsha P. Johnson State Park<\/a> (90 Kent Avenue); the Prospect Park location is at Breeze Hill (enter at Lincoln Road).
