HARRISON, N.J. (April 10, 2026) \u2013\u00a0Red Bull New York II have acquired Mauritanian midfielder\u00a0Abdellahi Nasser Dine\u00a0on a one-year loan deal through the 2026 MLS NEXT Pro season from Football Federation of the Islamic Republic of Mauritania, the club announced today.<\/p>\n
\u201cAbdellahi is a talented young box to box midfielder, that possesses good speed and acceleration with and without the ball,\u201d said Head Coach Dominik Wohlert. \u201cWe are looking forward to having him at the club and for him to contribute to our midfield.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n
The 19-year-old midfielder is part of the Football Federation of Islamic Republic of Mauritania youth academy. He played in the Africa\u2019s Cup 2025, which is the same competition current Red Bull New York forward Mohammed Sofo and midfielder Ronald Donkor played in before coming to New York.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n
On the international level, Nasser Dine has four appearances for U-20 Mauritania logging 107 minutes played.\u00a0<\/p>\n
