(PIX11) \u2013 The forecasted nor\u2019easter is disrupting weekend plans for people across the tri-state area, including those expected to run in the Staten Island Half Marathon.<\/p>\n<p>The event, planned for Sunday, was canceled by the New York Road Runners.<\/p>\n<p>It was set to start at Bay Street and Slosson Terrace, with the finish line also on Bay Street near Barrett Triangle.<\/p>\n<p>The organizer said it\u2019s not rescheduling the marathon due to limited available dates.<\/p>\n<p>Erin Pflaumer is a digital content producer from Long Island who has covered both local and national news since 2018.
