QUEENS, N.Y. (PIX11) \u2014 Hundreds of firefighters responded to a warehouse in Queens on Friday night for a five-alarm fire that broke out at around 7:30 p.m.<\/p>\n
FDNY crews responded to 130-17 23rd Avenue in College Point, Queens, for a report of an odor of smoke.<\/p>\n
Discover more local reporting on our homepage <\/a><\/p>\n Responding units discovered a massive fire on the second floor of the warehouse.<\/p>\n There were no occupants in the building at the time. No injuries were reported.<\/p>\n FDNY officials say a lumber yard inside the warehouse fueled the fire.<\/p>\n \u201cEven though we lost the building, it was an incredibly successful operation at the end of the day.
