<\/p>\n Siena Baseball (10-21, 6-12 MAAC) fell 16\u20132 to Manhattan (12-19, 5-12 MAAC) Sunday at Clover Stadium, as a seven-run second inning proved too much to overcome.

\nManhattan piled up 17 hits and two home runs, breaking the game open early with a decisive offensive burst. A three-run triple from Ryan Lordier highlighted the inning, followed by run-scoring doubles from Colin Basehore and Andreaus Lewis to build a commanding lead.

\nSiena answered in the third, when Vincent Venditti<\/a> and Gavin Thorburn<\/a> singled to set up Steven Ramirez’s<\/a> two-run double down the right field line. The Saints, however, were unable to sustain momentum and were held scoreless the rest of the way.

\nRamirez led Siena with two RBIs, while Thorburn collected two hits and scored a run. Venditti also crossed the plate, and Cole Hambly<\/a> added a double.

\nOn the mound, Siena’s staff struggled to contain Manhattan’s lineup, with starter Paltridge allowing seven earned runs over two innings. Manhattan’s Joseph Duffield earned the win with three scoreless innings in relief.
