A variety of exciting concerts for residents and visitors to attend will return to Queen\u2019s Park in Loughborough this summer.<\/p>\n
The popular bandstand concerts, organised by Charnwood Borough Council, begin on Sunday, 17\u00a0May with a performance by the Loughborough Student Union (LSU) Classical Concert Band.<\/p>\n
Regular concerts are scheduled between May and August, with two more in September and a final performance by the LSU Classical Concert Band in mid-October.<\/p>\n
The concerts have been well-attended in recent years, and residents of all ages are invited to come down and enjoy an afternoon of music on the following Sundays:<\/p>\n

\n31 May – Charnwood Symphonic Wind Orchestra
\n7 June – Junkyard Cats Jazz Band
\n14 June – Ratby Crescendo Brass Band

\n12 July – Loughborough Concert Band
\n19 July – Loughborough Male Voice Choir
\n26 July – Quorn Ukulele Orchestra
\n2 August – Melton Band
\n16 August – New Orleans Hotshots Jazz Band
\n23 August – Syston Town Band
\n6 September – Enderby Concert Band
\n13 September – Nottingham Concert Band
\n11 October – Loughborough Student Union (LSU) Classical Concert Band<\/p>\n
All concerts commence at 2pm and are free to attend.<\/p>\n

Any changes will be updated on the Council\u2019s website\u00a0www.charnwood.gov.uk\/bandstand<\/a>\u00a0and social media channels.<\/p>\n Councillor Anne Gray, Lead Member for Open Spaces at Charnwood Borough Council, said: \u201cWith every passing year, the bandstand concerts in the beautiful Queen\u2019s Park are incredibly popular, and the line-up for 2026 looks great.<\/p>\n \u201cThe bands receive a warm welcome from those who attend, and there\u2019s always a good crowd. These performances are a superb opportunity to visit and enjoy our beautiful park.<\/p>\n \u201cThere is limited seating around the bandstand so please feel free to bring along a picnic chair and blanket.
