\t\t Search our comprehensive guide to things to do in Queens<\/a> for more local events \u2014 or submit your own<\/a>!<\/p>\n Forest Hills Stadium will host its annual job fair this Saturday ahead of the 2026 concert season at the iconic venue.\n<\/p>\n The event, which will run from 12 to 4 p.m., provides an opportunity to apply for a wide range of seasonal positions, including ushers, VIP staff and production assistants.\n<\/p>\n The venue is also hiring concessions team members, production runners, security personnel, cleaning staff and maintenance staff at Saturday\u2019s event.\n<\/p>\n Anyone interested in attending the fair is advised to enter Forest Hills Stadium at the corner of 69th Avenue and Dartmouth Street. All applicants must be aged 18 and over.\n<\/p>\n The 2026 Forest Hills Stadium concert season is set to kick off on Saturday, June 6, with a performance by indie rock band Bright Eyes.\n<\/p>\n At present, there are 20 events scheduled for the venue during the summer, with the season slated to end with a performance from Irish artist Dermot Kennedy on Sept. 29.\n<\/p>\n The upcoming season will also feature performances from Paul Simon, the Dave Matthews Band and Djo. A \u201cJuneteenth for the People\u201d festival is also scheduled for June 19.\n<\/p>\n Last month, an economic impact report<\/a> studying the 2024 season at Forest Hills Stadium found that the venue generated $42.5 million in economic activity for Forest Hills, New York City and New York State.<\/p>\n The report, funded by Forest Hills Stadium<\/a>\u00a0and conducted by\u00a0Perch Advisors<\/a>, examined the 34 concerts and four non-concert events that took place throughout 2024 and described the venue as a \u201cvital economic engine\u201d for Queens.<\/p>\n The 2024 season saw almost $6.8 million in direct expenditures to local vendors and suppliers, including food and beverage providers, equipment rental companies, security firms, sanitation services and professional services, according to the report.<\/p>\n The study found that Forest Hills Stadium directly supported over 1,100 jobs for New York City residents during the 2024 season, with a particular emphasis on local hiring. Of all seasonal staff hired in 2024, 47% are Queens residents, while 16% reside directly in Forest Hills.<\/p>\n Forest Hills Stadium provided $6.5 million in direct wages to support jobs at the venue during the 2024 season.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"Entrance to Forest Hills Stadium on Burns Street.
