EWING: She’s starting her plan to take Midgard\u2014as in, Earth\u2014for herself, backed up by an army of Marvel’s deadliest alien races all bonded to symbiotes, so we’re getting right into the action. MARVEL.COM: On top of the main series, you\u2019re also writing a handful of tie-ins for QUEEN IN BLACK<\/a>. Where do each of these series fit in the larger story?<\/p>\n EWING: I’m writing a couple of specials – in QUEEN IN BLACK: HELA, Karnilla of the Norns tells the tale of how Hela started all this, and which forgotten Thor tried to prevent it. QUEEN IN BLACK: THOR, meanwhile, is a tale of Beta Ray Bill<\/a> and the Mortal Thor, Sigurd Jarlson\u2014how they react to Hela, and how Hela reacts to them. And finally, in VENOM, we get to see the war against Hela from the point of view of the characters in that book\u2014Dylan<\/a>, Mary Jane<\/a>, and obviously the Venom<\/a> symbiote himself.
