The time is here: Chili’s is coming to Manhattan.<\/p>\n

Speculation swirled on X this weekend as New Yorkers noticed a storefront under construction in Union Square, decked out with a golden Chili pepper logo.<\/p>\n

“Finally,” one person commented on X.<\/p>\n

“I’m there day one,” another said.<\/p>\n

Here are all the details for the viral mystery storefront, which features two giant chicken sandwich sculptures on a handheld scale.<\/p>\n

Currently, locations are only outside of the borough, much to the dismay of New Yorkers.<\/p>\n

But Chili’s is finally opening up in Manhattan \u2014 although not in the traditional sense.<\/p>\n

The chain restaurant told USA TODAY it is merely a pop-up, expected to be open only this Thursday, April 16.<\/p>\n

The rollout is for a new “Big Crispy” chicken sandwich lineup, which will be offered nationwide. The pop-up, named the “Chili\u2019s Big Crispy Food Court,” will last one day at the New York City location in Union Square.<\/p>\n

On Thursday, guests are invited to serve as a “jury” in the case “Chili\u2019s vs. Fast Food.”<\/p>\n

And yes, attendees will hear and get to eat the evidence.<\/p>\n

The address is 37 Union Square West, and will be open from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.<\/p>\n
