A Big Apple straphanger was knifed in the stomach during an attempted robbery on a moving subway\u00a0Tuesday\u00a0\u2013 with the distraught victim initially screaming, \u201cI got shot,\u201d cops and witnesses said.<\/p>\n
The victim, aged in his 30s,\u00a0was stabbed on a southbound No. 4 train in downtown Manhattan at about 12:30 p.m., police said.<\/p>\n
A horrified bystander told The Post the blood-soaked man, who managed to make it out of the Wall Street subway station before collapsing outside the famed Trinity Church, was screaming that he\u2019d been shot.<\/p>\n

\u201cThere was blood around his mouth and nose,\u201d said Orin Davidson, a tour bus hawker, who called 911.<\/p>\n
\u201cHe said, \u2018I got shot\u2019 and then he collapsed.\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cHe was just moaning and groaning that he got shot,\u201d Davidson added.<\/p>\n
The masked perp,\u00a0who was believed to be a teen,\u00a0fled when the train pulled into the Wall Street station, according to law enforcement sources.<\/p>\n

The station\u00a0was briefly shut\u00a0down as cops scoured the area for any sign of the attacker.<\/p>\n
Blood could be seen spattered on the platform in the wake of the terrifying, midday attack.<\/p>\n
The victim\u00a0was treated at the scene before being rushed\u00a0to Bellevue Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, police said.<\/p>\n
