I can confirm these boots are, in fact, made for walking.<\/p>\n

And, I say that as someone who spent the first 18 years of my life cleaning chicken coops, shoveling manure and trying to teach retired racehorses how to fly over jumps. There were plenty of \u201coh you-know-what\u201d moments when these trusty cowboy boots<\/a> were the only thing keeping me upright, and you-know-what-free.<\/p>\n

I bought Ariat\u2019s $280 Cassanova Boots<\/a> for farm life because they were no-frills, reliable and well-constructed \u2014 not for the fashion. But now, as a fully converted Brooklynite, I know they actually translate effortlessly to city life and score style points.<\/p>\n

Today, Ariat has released a limited-edition Fangirl Casanova style, which brings some sparkle to their streamlined, best-selling silhouette. And here I am, thinking of entertaining a fourth pair. They\u2019re the perfect blend of rugged and polished, and arguably a strong contender for festival season.<\/p>\n

With my Casanovas, I\u2019ve been able to log 20K steps through summer heat with zero blisters to show for it. The 2.5-inch heel gives just enough lift without sacrificing stability, and the inside zip makes them easy to slip on and off. Somehow, the full-grain leather also feels more breathable than other boots I\u2019ve worn, which is probably why I can wear them all day long.<\/p>\n

I also live in Greenpoint \u2014 which is a haven for vintage trends \u2014 and amazingly, these boots have earned more compliments than anything else in my closet. They\u2019re the one piece I can take with me anywhere and always rely on to keep up.<\/p>\n
