A pair of BJ’s Wholesale Club employees were arrested and charged with grand larceny after they allegedly made phony returns totaling six figures.<\/p>\n
Marquis Johnson, 31, of Westbury, and Ranaldo Davis, 19, of Rosedale, Queens, worked together to document fraudulent returns worth about $175,000 at the BJ\u2019s on Green Acres Road South in Valley Stream, where they were employed, the Nassau County Police Department said in a news release. The returns occurred between Jan. 13 and April 12.<\/p>\n
Police arrested and charged Johnson and Davis on Tuesday with second-degree grand larceny and first degree falsifying business records, according to the release. Both men are scheduled for arraignment on Wednesday at First District Court in Hempstead.<\/p>\n
BJ\u2019s did not immediately return an emailed request for comment Tuesday evening.<\/p>\n
